Dream Achievers Resource & Development Center is a nonprofit based in Lake Wales, Florida, focused on ending hidden homelessness families in motels, teens couch-surfing, or adults in housing crisis.

We serve all of Polk County, including Lakeland, Winter Haven, Bartow, Eagle Lake, Auburndale, Davenport, and Haines City.

Our approach is simple but powerful:

Prevention stopping homelessness before it starts

Intervention stepping in when crisis strikes

Empowerment equipping people to rebuild and thrive

We target root causes earlyespecially with youth and system-involved individuals.

Programs include:

Pathways to Possibilities FAFSA, college access, and career planning for high school and foster youth

Reentry Support stabilization and support for individuals exiting incarceration

Youth Mentoring & Life Skills

Intervention

When crisis hits, we act fast.

We provide hands-on support for individuals and families in immediate need.

Programs include:

Hand Up for Adults financial case management, budgeting, and resource navigation

Foreclosure Prevention help for homeowners behind on payments in Polk County

Emergency Gap Services rental, utility, and transitional help

Empowerment

Giving people the tools to thrive.

We build long-term financial confidence, not dependency.

Programs include:

Financial Fitness Academy our signature financial literacy and credit education program

Business Builder Academy entrepreneurship training for low-income individuals and second-chance learners
